@Karl: Yeah, that is kinda confusing, isn’t it? The rules that Zan was talking about earlier are more along the lines of ones he thinks ought to exist, rather than actual rules.
Yeah, Vessa’s playing the part of “The Gaffer” (slang for “THE BOSS”) and remind Zan that some of the rules are there for their own protection.
She is firm but fair with Zan and isn’t giving him a bol- er- a shouting at. Zan does seem to have a naturally hyper-curious outlook on life so if you left him to it he’d get really carried away I’d imagine.
Hi, I’m very new to Galaxion but I’m definitely along for the ride!! Very nice series and I love the way you draw faces and expressions. Keep up the good work!
Yeah, it does seem super harsh. I don’t see what about the first impression was all THAT bad. Maybe she feels threatened in her friendship with Fusella since Zan has a prior claim? And also maybe resenting the replacement of a former teammate she really liked. Though I think at this point, commenters have the right of it in saying she’s venting her worry about Amy on an easy target.
Interestingly, in the 90s version, their dynamic was entirely different… Zan was much more competent as a first contact team operator (heck, he was leading it!), and if anything there was ship tease between Aria and Zan!
Oooh, Tektite formation! Fancy!
hi hi
I don’t get it… didn’t they just chew him out for bringing up the rules a moment ago?

Ah, I like Aria, but it does bother me how she gets on Zan’s case about everything. She really seems to loathe the guy.

How things have changed…
