I’ve had several requests for a donation button for Galaxion from readers who have felt the generous urge to drop some spare change into the virtual hat, so here we are at last. “Burden of Command” is a short story about Darvin, Fusella and Zandarin in their Academy days. I planned it to be a minicomic (that’s the little 4.25″ x 5.5″  size), because I’m just so fond of the format. It’s one of the simplest ways for a young aspiring comic artist to delve into self-publishing– take a standard piece of paper, fold it in quarters, cut along the top and staple along the fold, and you’ve got yourself an 8-page comic, including the cover. This is the second one I’ve done, and I hope to do more of these just-for-fun short stories in the future, as inspiration strikes and time allows. Paper editions of “Burden of Command” are for sale at conventions, but it’s not otherwise available to read online except through these donations.
