It’s crazy to think how much my life comes to a standstill when the internet is down. It was out for, like, almost a whole day and a half!! I know!!! Amusingly, the whole street seemed to come outside to gripe about all the things they hadn’t been able to do, when the service team finally showed up and began repairs on the downed line. Good to know it’s not just me.
Anyway, new page at last!
If it isn’t one thing it’s something else…
“The good news is that I know where we are. The bad news is… everything else.”
That…is a skeleton bridge crew. Four stations manned plus a staff officer with the other five unoccupied. (Six if it’s hiding behind the hologram.) The jump must have incapacitated many more people than we thought.
NO! You always take the bad news first! Especially when you only get one new page every other week!
Some people optimize their life for the print edition!

My hair actually just naturally falls in those curls. It’s a wash, scrunch and go sort of style.
If you’re going take as read the Jump Drive, you might as well accept the hair, too.
And would you believe, Zan doesn’t do anything other than drag a comb through his hair either! No, I’m serious, he does comb it, that hair just happens. It’s like a run-on cowlick.
Seriously, though, it’s an artistic representation of hair that has a lot of natural wave to it. It’s not super tightly curled, but there’s also nothing straight about it.
Tara, are you SURE Zan is able to comb his hair? I could totally see the comb breaking while trying to tame that mane.
Well, he doesn’t buy the cheap-o combs.
Now that I think about it, it looks kinda like my wife’s hair. Well, her hair when she doesn’t wear it in a tight bun because “it’s too hot”.
The nitpicker says it’s not a hologram, but a free-air volumetric display.
Couldn’t you just combine the two into a piece of mediocre news?
