Hey, everybody! First of all, thank you for your patience with me during the moving process and, of course, for coming back. It’d been 12 years since my last move, and clearly I’d forgotten just how much of an upheaval moving can be. We didn’t move far (we’re in walking distance of the old house) so it seemed like it ought to be an easy shift. Hah– lesson learned! And there will be more house-related turbulence in my future, since my dad will be arriving soon with all his things, and I predict another period of time spent settling in and rearranging our combined collections of stuff. And some time after that will be a bit of remodeling in the basement to make an extra room, which may leave me temporarily without an art room. So, I want to make sure you all are forewarned that I may not be able to keep my schedule as I would like during certain portions of the coming months. It’s really frustrating!

And second of all, the Moving Sale was a big success! Thank you so much to all of you who purchased books and comics! Every book sold made my packing job easier– I appreciated each and every one. Keen-eyed readers will have noticed that we haven’t quite gotten around to taking down the Moving Sale prices on the store pages… we’ll be getting to it soon, but if you meant to order and delayed too long or something, you still have an opportunity to grab the sale prices while we’re distracted with unpacking.

On the topic of the Sale, one reader pointed out in the comments that I didn’t go into much detail about the art that was also supposed to be on sale. I agreed that this was an oversight, so I am extending the original art sale into November. Here are the deets on the original art:

1) Each page is drawn and inked in black and white on bristol board. The board (OK, it’s paper) is 11″x17″, and the artwork itself is 9″x14″. (Actually, some of the earlier pages, like from Chapters 1 and 2, are a bit bigger.)
2) I aim to make the inked page as finished as possible, but I do make some mistakes. There will be differences, usually minor, between the original art and the finished page you see online. Not including the grey tones or colour, of course, which is all done digitally. I will be happy to send you a photo of the page you are considering for you to examine.
3) The Moving Sale price of an original Galaxion comic page of your choice is $50, which includes shipping to the US and Canada. Overseas, $60. My regular price at a show is typically $80. There is a great selection of pages currently available, but some have previously been sold, so please inquire about the specific page you are interested in.
4) Below is a photo (sorry about the quality here) of two pages, one from today’s update and the other a short while back, to give you an idea of what they look like.
