This weekend, March 10-11, I’ll be at the Toronto Comicon! This one is run by the same folks who put on FanExpo in the summer (which I will also be attending!). Their spring show is a bit smaller and the ticket price a bit cheaper, so if you’ve wanted to come out to see the spectacle but didn’t want to pay the entrance fee, this might be the show for you. I’ll be in Artist Alley booth A80, along with the very talented Crystal Yates of Earthsong.
Hope you have a great time at the comicon and sell lots of artwork. Am really enjoying the online comic Galaxion. Great story line!
The argument is pretty good, but it needs to be backed up with facts.
Yeah, like how they get zombiefied in the first place; getting bitten by a creepy alien butterfly doesn’t explain much. So, does this mean they’re like the Borg, or something?
Ah! That’s this weekend?! Too soon! D:
“…there will be nothing any of us can do.” But up on the Galaxion there is a whole science lab who, if they only knew about it, would be ready and willing to get their teeth into the problem of de-zombiefying people.
It wouldn’t be the same story if they had access to all the Science and Technology on the Galaxion. They will eventually, but for now we get the human drama of people doing above-and-beyond in a delicate and dangerous situation.
…who would need to be Very, Very Careful! with their hazmat/containment procedures. You’d need a completely self-contained cell for starters … air, water, everything. Having the ship turn into a “hot-zone” would be disastrous! Nowhere to escape to on a spaceship… And how could you ever be SURE of a cure?
Don’t be silly! I’ve seen “Bones” make the miracle cure to bring them all back from the brink of death thousands of times on Star Trek!
Can’t be sure of anything, except they are as good as dead as long as they sit around with their thumbs up waiting to be picked off. Sure aren’t accomplishing anything now.
I’m curious: given the Orehu’s known resources, what would you have them do?
A lot more than this.
Here’s another star-ship saga with great art and a compelling story line:
