We have reached the end of Chapter Four! Hooray! I’m pleased that we get to start the new year with a new chapter. The action is about to pick up!
Remember I mentioned that I would be a guest on The Webcomic Beacon? Well, that episode is now up and ready for listening or downloading. We end up talking a lot about Star Trek, especially the original series. Y’know, there was a time when I had every episode memorized, but it’s been so long since I’ve watched any of them, even in reruns. I may have to look into purchasing the remastered editions….
And please come back January 1st for a special New Year’s (and First-Friday-of-the-Month) bonus!
Oh boy, here we go…
Nice overhead shot! But um…where are the “someones” in the panel? I’m squinting at it and am trying to decide where they are…
At 850 metres away, I’m not surprised not to see them in the last panel – we can see the survey team as more than dots, so from that, I’d say the crater is roughly 100 metres across (and it takes up most of the panel). Our mystery visitors haven’t even reached the treeline.
Now I get to greet the new year wondering who these mystery people are and What Is In Store For Our Heroes. This is a wonderful page to finish things off with! See you in 2010.
Yes, that’s right– the “someones” are on the opposite side of the Hiawatha to the team, and still making their way down into the crater/valley. Don’t worry, this is stated more clearly on the next page.
Been pushing for the remastered editions for either Christmas or b-day gifts myself. ‘Cause from what I’ve seen of the remastering, I like it.
The only episode I have even close to memorized is “The Trouble with Tribbles”!
I love Patty… look at the way she thows herself into the scanner while she’s talking. It’s a scary, exciting, and extremely serious moment, but she still has her Patty-ness about her.
I still say Galaxion Con should have a Patty’s Hats event. ^_^
@Dave III: That would be awesome, wouldn’t it? Geez, it occurs to me I haven’t yet drawn her in nearly enough different hats! Maybe that should be a New Year’s Resolution, to draw more stuff that’s just for fun.
