If you would like, you can read this flashback from the beginning of the sequence. Or, if you’re really lost, you might like to start at the beginning of the chapter (a 24-page commitment).

Ah, the motherly logic I always hated when I was a kid…
Not to be nitpicky, but didn’t Jeff’s uniform have only 3 rank stripes before?
I’ve been spoiled buying the book at FanExpo….. this one page per week pace is killing me!
Argh! Yes, that should have been three stripes. Or, to be more accurate (as my drawing is often not), a thick stripe, a thin stripe, and another thick stripe. Thanks, Insectoid! I always appreciate editorial help! This will go on the list of things to be fixed in the eventual printed collection (vol 2).
I love this comic ^_^.
I wish I had a view of the universe from my living room windows….
“I wish I had a view of the universe from my living room windows….”
You do! It’s just a VERY VERY small percentage of the universe
Haha! Too bad the universe is raining today.
A bit of useless trivia– Jeff doesn’t really have any sort of view at all in his quarters. The windows are just fancypants flat screens that show the outside view he might have if his room was actually located near the outer hull, which it isn’t. All the spacey views from the bridge are the same technology at work. And that is why the bridge under construction scene in Chapter One had all those horrible grey fills, because I was trying to show they were “off”.
Ah. “Smartwalls”, then!
*thumbs up*
It’s true you know. Life will never be fair. This comic will always be gorgeous though!
