   I just discovered Galaxion (on a link from Buck Godot), and decided to read the whole thing.
   About the… hat?
   I was expecting a Victorian (British Colonial) pith helmet.

   I do so love the ladies’ reactions in the last three panels — it’s like the longer they look, the worse it gets. XD And dang is he ever smooth.

   OH GOD THE HAT

   I remember it well from the first print version. I remember blinking, a lot of it, then a general giggle. I still giggle at it. It’s quite unique in the annals of all the silly hats in comics I’ve seen, including all the European ones – and that’s a lot of silly hats, I can tell you.

   Yes, that hat… that hat I definitely remember.
   Not sure which reaction I like best but I think Darvin is a good indicator of how I would react, myself.
