EDIT 11 July 2017: Argh, sorry about this delay! The new page is all ready but we’ve been without internet at home since the beginning of the weekend, and at the moment it doesn’t look as though I’m getting it back before next week. I’m just about banging my head against the drawing table, it’s been so frustrating. I’ll aim to have the new page up on July 18th, and the one after that back on schedule on the 25th. Hang in there!
This page from Chapter Nine might help jog your memory, if you’re wondering if Aria’s dream is supposed to look familiar.
And the drum roll of suspense builds up to crescendo…
That is heavy. Was he talking to her when she fell back on the planet? Is this an echo from a previous memory passed on through the trenat? Is he talking to her now across the universe and, possibly, across a barrier between universes? I don’t know but it’s killing me. I need to find out.
Bah. I can’t format to save my life.
Looks to me like he talked to her back when she was on the planet, after she was stung and captured, knowing that she would eventually remember it later on (which is now in the present). That seems like the most likely scenario, but you have very creative alternate possibilities!
[Kosh] Yes. [/Kosh]
*Impressed*
Hmmmm, I wonder how this will go. Is this some kind of danger to the Galaxion, or perhaps this guy is the general’s husband and wanted a message left for her for a safe time.
Looking back at http://galaxioncomics.com/1-comic/book-2/chapter-4/chapter-4-p-104/, I think my second thought may be right. The two do look rather similar.
The writing over the door and the different panel borders make me think this is a memory rather than the present.
I suppose we might be getting some insight from those who are called Rautani, finally. Might clear some things up that have been more-or-less speculation ever since properly meeting the Miesti.
And if this guy does turn out to be the lost Major Jeff Nelson, as a comment above speculates, so much the better.
When the Internets goes down, we takes ourselves and our laptop and our flash card to Starbucks. May as well get our money’s worth from a five dollar cup of coffee. Absolutely love this strip.
