I’m reeeeasonably sure you can skip the wavy writing and still get all the important stuff. I think there was one page where it was important to the story– this page– but that was easier to read. If there were any more points where the wavy writing was critical, I’m sure someone else will remind me…
For once I saved the graphic to rotate it, so I could read all of it. Definitely more readable right-side-up! Also more readable compared to how you used to do it.
…at least it’s her own thoughts (or Zan’s) that she’s hearing, rather than those of the aliens. So maybe they’re far enough away still.
…or maybe you need one of the aliens nearby to act as a conduit for the thoughts…

Like Kendall I rotated the page to read Zan’s thoughts; no trouble reading it once I did that.
