This is how Darvin evaded the question last time.
For those of you wondering, Fusella did indeed have a very happy birthday yesterday. Lots of chocolates and cookies and especially cake were consumed. On your birthday there is no such thing as too much sugar!
Also, if you have an interest in mechanical pencils, you can check out the new blog post below.
EDIT: And finally, an announcement! I will be appearing at Toronto’s sci-fi/fantasy con Ad Astra, April 8-10 2011. I’ve wanted to attend this one for a few years now, so I’m really looking forward to it.
Well, this is pretty similar to what he said then, too…
“Support the Jump Engine! It’ll Make Everyone’s Lives Better!”
“…And?” I’m sensing an “and” to Darvin’s answer coming soon…
It just occured to me, Darvin seems to share a lot of similarities with Ivan Vorpatril. Perhaps they both went to the same school for Artful Dodgers?
My first response was “Whaaaa? But Ivan Vorpatril’s such a slacker! He’s nothing like Darvin!!” But then my husband reminded me of a number of Ivan’s other qualities, so I guess I can see your point.
Actually, I am fond of Ivan. I read in an interview that the next Vorkosigan book Ms. Bujold has planned will feature a young Ivan, and this makes me very happy.
Love how she implies that being at IP is a lesser job than being at TerSA. She misses the point that its an IP guy who invented FTL. Doesn’t strike me as ‘lesser’ at all.
Yarg. Those links to previous chapters are dangerous. I read all the way from the link back up to now.
HaHA! My cunning plan worked. Next step is to get everyone sick and tired of all the clicking and decide what they really need is to buy the book.
