Hey, stranger! Haven’t seen you around these parts in a while. What was your name again? Fusella something?
Yes, it’s been a heck of a long time since we last saw our poor beleaguered Captain, Fusella Mierter (not to mention the rest of the crew waiting patiently aboard ship), while the Survey Contact Team has been busy on the planet below. Nearly a year, although in fact it’s only been 57 pages (I know, I know, draw faster, Tara). I certainly enjoyed working on this scene. It was like returning to an old friend!
Look! I can see *stars*! I had almost forgotten about them.
Hi, Fusella! Nice to see you again at last!
The fuzzy thing (view screen?) on the bottom left of the first panel looks odd to me. At the start of chapter one you could always see stars in it even when you only saw a bit of it (like on page 4). But, it is nice to be back on the ship.
Poor Fu. At least she gets the opportunity to run around and scream and shout where we can see her now. I will be curious to see how Darvin’s line of reasoning is illustrated for us. Hopefully we won’t have to wait more than a week for it.
Deb – the view screen was showing the video feeds from the SCT. They’ve lost the signal, so they’re getting the equivalent of the grey fuzz on a TV with no signal coming in.
@Wendy: Ahh… that explains it. Was wondering why it was fuzzy.
