Finally I can tell that the colonel has something about his uniform that says he has some kind of ranking. You could have used the old reliable military insignia for the captain.
Why is a colonel “ma’amming” a captain?
I wondered at that too, but (although they are wearing the same uniforms) I do believe they belong to different organisations? Fu is Terran Space Administration, Anderswall is Interplanetary Patrol. I didn’t think TerSA is even a military outfit, Fu is a captain as in “captain of a ship”.
