Personally, I find it highly ironic that I can’t seem to do the really big manga eyes very convincingly. You should’ve seen the stupidly big eyes I used to draw on these characters, way back when.

But as NightGaunt says, your own style is great, without anime eyes.
The 90s comic definitely has its charm. It’s rather Leiji Matsumoto in style, I think.
