I’ve been fortunate to tour several WWII ships including a couple of battleships and submarines as well as an aircraft carrier (the U.S.S. Intrepid museum in New York city). They are very cool and the battleships are very big.

I’ve also been to the Smithsonian several times; especially the Air & Space museum (aircraft & spacecraft are my ga-ga items :-) ). The Enterprise model is beginning to show it’s age (it’s over 40 years old!).

The Uniform: OMG, that is so cool!! Wendy, you look every inch like a certain Captain of the Galaxion!

Oh, and I’m gonna get my hands on one of those Jump 2nd Editions soon, I swear! Pending income, if you know what I mean. :)

Whidbey Island: I’ve toured only one Naval ship in my life (the aircraft carrier Midway in San Diego), but that one looks pretty impressive, too.

Smithsonian: Never been there myself, but would love to visit someday. Pretty impressive display of minerals there; our growing collection of minerals & gems pales in comparison. ;) (Oh, and I took Geology in jr. college, which must be why I like watching How the Earth Was Made! Guess I’m a little like Aria that way.) Our Air & Space Museum had a Star Trek exhibit a year or so ago; it was pretty cool.

And after a wall of text like this, I suppose I ought to comment on today’s page. :D
