From a story standpoint, the only ones we know for certain about at this point are Aria and Darvin – Aria being from a colony and Darvin from Earth. I don’t think Tara will scalp me (since I’m not spoiling anything) if I go on to say that most of the others were born and raised on Earth. For myself, I have always tended to consider Aria and Zandarin as the ones who are “average” height for their gender. That makes Fu, Vessa & Alex shorter than average and Scavina, Patty and Darvin above average. I think they all look pretty slender here because they’re squashed together all onto one page. But they do lead active lives and tend to stay fit as a result.

One thing that strikes me is that pretty much everyone except Fusella is tall and slender – were they perchance born and spent their childhoods on planets with less than 1G gravities? Because that would surely account for that.

Wow, for some reason I thought Anderson was taller in the new version… but I guess that’s only when he’s talking to Fusella? Darvin of course, is our lanky giant. We all knew that.
