Okay, either she really does need to brief everyone, and Anderson is in because alternate earth…

Or Nelson has been compromised, she brought along all the people for backup, and getting the higher ups in a meeting together is because mind bugs.

I forget if there was an urgent reason to evacuate the underground shelter. I also forget where Khavis is.

No, it’s the coffee mug “9″ that’s strange. “5″ is the highest officially posted rating. That we’ve seen, anyway. There may be areas marked higher….

Sure! They simply represent a hazard warning. The higher the number, the more potentially hazardous the area. The science lab crew put the labels on their own mugs because the idea that their coffee is the most dangerous thing on the ship appeals to their sense of humour. If you look carefully you'll also see that some wag went and hung a "10" over whatever the actual number is that's printed on the entrance to the labs.
