Maybe she’s split between thinking she’s in two physical locations, or her identity of herself is rejecting this… displeasure can have a strong effect on the body.

Actually, I don’t get how the mental freefall is giving her a headache – it can’t be because she thinks she’s someone else, perhaps it’s a byproduct?

Being someone else might be disorienting physically I guess, or in the mind’s eye… but these are memories. Vivid memories though!

Hmm, their thoughts seem mainly negative… I sympathize (since I have Aspergers), it’s terrible when your neurons fire harder at negative thoughts – so you stay positive.
But not being able to tell who you are… mmmm, sounds both good and bad.

It’s messing with her sense of balance though, or somehow making her sick?

It’ll probably help them understand and coordinate though, it might not be natural to humans, but that doesn’t mean this has to be a bad thing other than it having been done to them without their say-so and education.
