p.272 (Chapter Nine)

If you’re new to Galaxion and are hoping for a better idea of what’s going on, you might like to start reading at the beginning of the chapter.

This week I foolishly started playing Minecraft. I say “foolishly” because, as many of you probably already know, it’s a huge time vortex: I’ve already lost waaay too many hours trying to build a house, find iron ore, raise chickens, and attempt not to get blown up by creepers (not doing a very good job of that last one). My children have already been playing it for quite a while, so I’m rather behind the curve. On the other hand, it’s nice to be able to bond over shared obsessions! My son insists there ought to be a Minecraft Texture Pack for Galaxion, since (he says) there seems to be one for every other science fiction universe. Interesting thought.
