Hi! Yeah, I’m sorry about that– there were issues with the Girlamatic site going down and not a lot of support for the creators (but not on the part of our hardworking editor D.C. McQueen!) that kind of got to me after a while. So I decided to stop posting there and concentrate on this place. But thank you for the reminder– I finally put up an announcement over there. As it happens, this looks like it’s leading up to something I just discovered – I found a copy of the Galaxion comic book, issue #10, at a yard sale a couple of days ago. Read it last night. Looks like the story is headed some interesting places!

@Tara- For that particular instance, is a sound effect really necessary? That’s more like an action in which case “Grab” would work just as well.

Can’t take credit for the puppet, that’s all Jeff’s handywork. I’m just the instigator. Sorta like a lot of what we get up to.
As to doing well… We did far better on the quiet day than the busy day. Weird weird weird. Nice being able to hang with you though, even if you stole Leonard from us.

@Insectoid– I also considered “yoink,” but that was too Simpsons. Sound effects for me are just inherently silly!
