Pixie stays here, but pixie stays out in the middle panel originally because pixie-slap plus head-whack with the picture would be too much head-whacking.

I think the pixie is fantastic but I would say leave it as it is now: not there the first time but there on this page. If it had come up in the early page before we have a real feel for the characters’ relationship/interacting it seems a bit… off but here on this page it’s very clear and I’d say it would be fine to include her from here on out. ^.^ Just so long as she’s not chirping “hey, listen!”

The pixie is adorable.

I’m fully in support of both pixie AND visual metaphors. The only problem I’m seeing here is on this page, it almost looks like she’s rubbing her head because it hurts where the pixie kicked her, which might lead some to believe the pixie is real.

I’m not entirely sure it’s appropriate on the other page, but it definitely is here.

I love the pixie. And I think it’s perfect in the story. The semi-comical tone and the slight goofiness of the character she’s slapping make her perfect. I hope I get to see more of the little bugger

I love the pixie, but the boot-in-mouth picture was hilarious… so I’m divided–I think I want pixie AND more visual metaphors

I think that it might suit your story better if there were no pixie–as cute as she is. not that you need a boot in mouth pic here, i think he shock and then embarressment is clear enough

I like the pixie, but I also thought that the earlier comic with the “foot-in-mouth” illustration was really cute. I’d like to see more of the various ways Aria ends up kicking herself.
