So to start you off, here is an early model of what the Galaxion used to look like, circa 1984. Hmm, let’s see, I detect definite undertones of the Phoenix from Battle of the Planets (which some of you may know as Gatchaman). Magnogravitation Ray… that’s a fine example of technobabble if I ever heard one! When I was younger my dad put the notion in my head that if scientists ever figured out how to create a magnetic monopole (separating the “north” from the “south”, so to speak), we’d get some interesting energy from that. I didn’t really understand it, but I ran with it and it was the core of the Galaxion‘s engines for a long time.
