Well, technically, Starfleet generally changed uniforms about every century. The only exception being those used around the time of the V’ger incident. I think those are generally ignored as a stop-gap between stable uniform designs (TOS uniforms being used for the majority of the 23rd century, and then the common movie uniforms used from around just after the first movie(mid-2270s, according to Memory Alpha) until around halfway through the 24th century). So, yeah. Stable uniform design for probably all of the 22nd century, most of the 23rd, latter half of 23rd to the mid-point of the 24th, and from the 24th on you have a fairly definite design for the foreseeable future.

Seeing as how we’re not seeing anywhere near a century’s worth of time with TerSA or IP, there’s no proper judgement to be made on whether they change their uniforms as frequently or not.

Color is Really Really nice. I don’t suppose there is any chance of seeing more of it?

Yes, I realize that in a fundamental way the essence of your art does not rely on the use
of color, and your most devoted fans have always recognized this. But in terms of attracting
new eyes to the series, I think color adds quite a lot to the initial visual attractiveness,
especially since the series takes place in space — where we expect to see lots of striking
colors (uniforms, stars, arcing control panels, etc.)

I suppose it’s entirely a practical constraint, right? Too much time/effort/money to
have the regular strip colored?

Even better, it seems like a great 1-page introduction/hook to the story and world of Galaxion. Very nicely done!

Thank you! Not all colonies in the Galaxioverse are like this one, but Aria’s home is a relatively new settlement and quite a far distance (again, relatively speaking!) from the busy Earth hub. Since it is a new colony, there is certainly a lot of labour involved in keeping it running…
